Aristotle Should Have Been an Association Executive

By Shawn Conrad, CAE

March is upon us and for many, that means things will soon warm up and springtime activities will flourish. This is the time of year our friends in other industries seek us out to learn the results of IPMI’s Trends Survey. As in years past, planners, transportation engineers, architects, airline executives, university business officials, commercial real estate professionals, and others want to know the results of the survey. They’re interested in knowing what parking and mobility professionals think are the most important issues in your world and where you feel the industry as a whole is headed.

We are about to close the 2021 Trends Survey March 5 (this Friday), and wanted to give everyone a last chance to register your thoughts and be counted in the data we share with others. The survey just takes a few minutes and I think you’ll appreciate the areas covered and the questions IPMI’s Research Committee has included. To share your thoughts, take the survey here.

We will share the Trends results with other trade groups, but I promise to share the results with you first. IPMI is, as Aristotle stated,  a whole “greater than the sum of its parts.” Thanks for participating.

Shawn Conrad, CAE, is IPMI’s CEO.
