Communication is Everyone’s Job

Good communicators are valued in every organization. Most of us don’t focus on sending or receiving clear information, even though effective communication is the cornerstone of our professional relationships. The message may be as simple as “I am going on my lunch break,” or it may be complex technical instructions to keep the payment platform up and running. In either case, poor communication can lead to messy results. The lessons learned in this course will help you get your point across and develop skills to understand others without sending a dozen emails in each direction.

Learning Objectives:

  • Explore how to decode the communication you receive.
  • Develop professional communication skills of clarity and purpose.
  • Differentiate among electronic communication essentials.
