Flowbird Partners with Risetek to Enhance Parking Management at Ridge Hill, Yonkers, NY

Yonkers, NY — Flowbird, the leader in curbside and off-street mobility solutions, is proud to announce its collaboration with Risetek Global, an industry leader in cutting-edge technology integration, to deploy its advanced parking access and revenue control (PARCS) technology at the Ridge Hill shopping center in Yonkers, New York. Located in Westchester County, just 18 miles from Manhattan, Ridge Hill is a modern town square that blends shopping, dining, entertainment, and outdoor spaces. Ridge Hill provides a vibrant community hub with over 60 shops, restaurants, and entertainment venues. To enhance the customer experience and streamline parking operations, Flowbird has integrated 15 of its ‘Flowbird GO’ Off-Street devices, along with Risetek’s cutting-edge License Plate Recognition (LPR) cameras across the center’s three parking facilities: Market Street Garage, Archer Garage, and North Otis Garage. Flowbird’s Off-Street devices have fully configurable touch-screen interfaces, dynamic user management capabilities, and LED signals to communicate real-time parking availability. These features are designed to improve the efficiency of parking operations, reduce costs, and deliver a more seamless experience for visitors. Combined with Risetek’s LPR cameras, which use artificial intelligence to capture and record license plate numbers, this solution enhances security, enforces parking regulations, and ensures parking spaces are used efficiently. “Utilizing both companies’ cutting-edge smart parking technology solutions makes perfect sense for clients who require a hybrid frictionless environment,” said Garrett Hofeld, Vice President of Risetek. By integrating Flowbird’s expertise in parking management with Risetek’s AI-powered LPR technology, the two companies are helping to create a more innovative, sustainable parking environment at Ridge Hill. This collaboration aims to optimize parking operations, improve security, and deliver a user-centric experience for shoppers and visitors alike. The enhanced PARCS solution is part of Flowbird’s ongoing commitment to providing innovative, cloud-based solutions that make urban environments more efficient, user-friendly, and connected.

South Miami and Park Loyalty Partner to Drive Next-Level Parking Enforcement

Enhanced Enforcement Efficiency Arrives in South Miami Known for its bustling shopping and dining scene, South Miami is taking parking management to the next level with Park Loyalty’s Enforce Pro®, enhancing accuracy, speed, and integration across its expanding ecosystem of parking technologies. South Miami has launched Park Loyalty’s Enforce Pro solution, entering a new era of parking efficiency that overcomes past challenges and positions the City to stay ahead. Facing system reliability issues and limited support for real-time integrations, South Miami required a robust, streamlined enforcement management system that could accommodate their expanded lineup of pay-by-cell providers, mobile LPR technology, and future permitting solutions. Park Loyalty’s Enforce Pro was selected not only as the enforcement solution but also as the ecosystem aggregator, bringing together multiple technologies to improve accuracy, speed, and overall efficiency. The performance numbers since launch underscore the effectiveness of the solution. Within 48 hours, city staff were fully adapted to the new system, issuing citations with unprecedented speed and precision. The average time to issue a citation now stands at just 35 seconds—more than twice as fast as with the previous system—while ticket void rates have dropped to less than 0.05%. This rapid adoption is a testament to the ease of Enforce Pro’s design and the reliability of the integrated systems, enabling South Miami to maintain smooth, efficient operations with minimal adjustment time. Park Loyalty is proud to partner with South Miami in their mission to bring innovative, reliable parking solutions to the community. This success wouldn’t have been possible without the assistance of our ecosystem partners—ParkMobile, PayByPhone, Passport, and Survision—whose technology integrations played a key role in making this launch a success. As South Miami moves forward with Enforce Pro, they are now well-positioned for future enhancements that will further streamline parking and improve service for residents and visitors alike. Downtown West Chester Updates Its Parking System with Modern Payment Solutions

West Chester, PA -- The Borough of West Chester, Pennsylvania has announced an exciting upgrade to its parking system in partnership with Butts Ticket Systems and Flowbird Group, the leader in curbside management and urban mobility solutions. The Borough has updated its parking system with modernized touch-screen pay-by-plate parking kiosks, fully equipped with the industry’s latest technology, and two new mobile payment options – The Flowbird Mobile App and Pay-by-Text. The new parking system will feature parking kiosks with a 9.7” full color touch display. The touch screen has the look and feel of a tablet, walking users step-by-step through the transaction process. The kiosks will also allow for credit card payments as well as contactless payments such as Apple Pay and Google Pay. The environmentally friendly kiosks are solar powered - saving the Borough from any additional infrastructure costs - and paperless, allowing users to opt for text receipts instead. The new parking kiosks will use a ‘pay-by-plate’ parking system. This means that users will not be required to return to their car to display a receipt on the dashboard. Instead, all they need is their license plate information. The Borough is also excited to announce the release of two other digital parking solutions; The Flowbird Mobile App and Pay-by-Text! Those who used the Flowbird App on West Chester University’s campus will now be able to use the app downtown! The Flowbird App allows patrons to pay for parking from their mobile devices, receive text notifications when parking time is about to expire, and extend their time without having to visit a parking kiosk. The app features a map-based user interface, integrated with Waze and other navigation systems, to guide users to their preferred parking location. The app can be downloaded from the App Store or Google Play Store. In addition to the app, users can also use the Pay-by-Text functionality to make faster, easier payments! Pay-By-Text is an easy-to-use web-based solution that allows drivers to pay for their parking session without creating an account or downloading an app! Users can simply send a text with their parking code to 727563, and Flowbird will respond with a secure payment link. (The location parking code will be posted on-street signs and nearby parking kiosks!) Once the license plate and credit card information are entered, they’re all set! By implementing modernized parking solutions with convenient payment options, the Borough of West Chester will be able to better manage parking turnover and visitor influx during peak periods and provide a more user-friendly experience. The addition of digital payment options will bring a consistent and higher level of customer service to the parking public. The BirdWatch parking system not only connects to payment terminals, now it can also be integrated with electrical chargers, creating a fluid experience for electric vehicle users and improved management for parking facility operators. With this new functionality, users can know how long the vehicle has been charging in real time, and how long it has been parked without charging (lead time), providing operators with a comprehensive, detailed view. The BirdWatch EVC functionality makes it possible to know what is happening in each charging space, in detail, both in terms of parking as well as the use of the charger. This facilitates efficient management and maximizes profitability, especially in facilities where major investments have been in fast-chargers. This ensures that these resources are used in an optimal, profitable manner. Challenges in ticketless parking facilities and our innovative solution: In parking facilities that use ticket-based systems, the process is clear. When the ticket is presented to the payment terminal, the system accurately indicates the time that the vehicle has been charging, enabling optimal management of the electric-charging parking spaces. What about ticketless parking facilities? Management of ticketless parking facilities brought out a common challenge. How can the machine know how many hours the vehicle has been charging, or if, on the other hand, it has been parked but not charging? The SC Indoor parking sensor can detect the vehicle and read its license plate. Then, the electric charger complies data on the charge. This information is transmitted through the API to the payment terminal. The inter-relation of data enables the creation of an accurate real-time record of the time that the car has been parked and charging, optimizing management and control of electric vehicle parking, and ensuring that charging spaces are used as efficiently as possible. Another challenge faced by ticketless parking facility operators is the risk of users entering license numbers of other vehicles in the parking facility to gain access to charging. Although many chargers have their own app to manage charging, this solution depends on mobile network coverage, which is not always available in underground parking areas. Ensuring coverage throughout an entire parking facility is expensive. But with our system it isn't necessary. Integrating the guidance sensors and automatic license plate recognition, this problem is averted, because the vehicle that is using the charging station is reliably authenticated. This guarantees comprehensive monitoring capability.  Incident detection: Uncharged, incorrectly parked vehicle: This functionality can also detect anomalies, like vehicles parked in a charging space that are not using the charger. This detection capacity not only helps maximize the efficient use of charging stations. It also diminishes the frustration of drivers looking for a free space, ensuring that they are always available for users who need them to charge their vehicles. Companies also face another challenge: employees with electric company cars. How can companies be sure the employee is charging their company car and not their own vehicle? With the guidance system, the SC Indoor sensor recognizes the license plate and prevents this fraud, ensuring that only authorized vehicles can use company charging stations. This functionality also has a direct impact on the performance and return on investment made by parking facility operators. By optimizing the use of charging spaces and reducing idle time of electric chargers, operators can significantly improve vehicle rotation and with it, the revenue generated. The system also facilitates more efficient resource management.  A comprehensive solution for parking facilities of the future: Our goal is to equip parking operators with smart tools that not only improve the user experience, but also contribute to sustainability and efficiency of their daily operations. With the integration of electric chargers into the BirdWatch system, Quercus Technologies is offering a comprehensive solution that addresses the needs of parking facility users and operators. From charging management and time monitoring to incident detection and resource optimization, we are building the infrastructure that will help parking facilities adapt to the demands of a new era of electric mobility. Contact: marketing@quercus-technologies.com The on-street parking system currently consists of single-space meters, which will remain in place. However, with the expansion of digital payment options, drivers can now choose between the existing meters and the new Flowbird Mobile App or Pay-by-Text system for added convenience. The Flowbird Mobile App allows users to pay for parking from their mobile devices, receive alerts when time is about to expire, and extend their parking sessions remotely without visiting a meter. The app features an intuitive, map-based interface and integrates with navigation systems like Waze to guide users to available parking spots. It can be downloaded from both the App Store and Google Play. For those who prefer a more streamlined option, Pay-by-Text provides a quick, web-based solution. After parking, users simply text the number posted near their parking space, receive a secure link, and input their payment information. No account creation or app download is necessary—just a few taps, and the parking session begins. “The success of the ParkBH garage program has shown how much digital payment options can improve the parking experience,” said Benoit Reliquet, President and CEO of Flowbird America. “We are excited to bring these cutting-edge and convenient solutions to the city’s on-street parking spaces and continue providing top-tier service to the community.” The roll-out of the on-street parking expansion has begun and will continue throughout the city in phases. Flowbird Parking Ambassadors will be on-site the 2nd week of November to assist customers with their first mobile payments or to answer any questions. Flowbird Garage Success Leads to On-Street Parking Expansion in Beverly Hills

Beverly Hills, CA  – Following the successful implementation of modernized digital parking solutions in its downtown parking garages, the City of Beverly Hills, through its parking services division, ParkBH, is expanding the program to include on-street parking. In partnership with Flowbird Group, the leading provider of frictionless urban mobility solutions, ParkBH is now exclusively offering the Flowbird mobile payment app and Pay-by-Text across all on-street parking spaces, marking a significant milestone in its efforts to enhance the parking experience for residents and visitors. Flowbird is the City’s first and only mobile payment solution. The on-street parking system currently consists of single-space meters, which will remain in place. Beverly Hills joins other destinations across California and the U.S. utilizing Flowbird’s mobile payment solutions, helping the City manage parking turnover, enhance the user experience, and streamline parking enforcement.
