Three cameras monitor the parking area’s entry, exit, and service access points, delivering live occupancy data to a full-matrix LED sign at the lot entrance. The deployment serves the Old Man’s Cave parking lot, the primary access point for the park, where high seasonal demand routinely tests available capacity. The sign displays current space availability to drivers as they arrive and can be programmed with custom messages to direct visitors to alternate parking areas during peak periods.
The system delivers 99%+ counting accuracy, powered by EnSight’s advanced proprietary software. Park staff now have access to live and historical occupancy data through the cloud-based EnSightful Portal. This visibility enables the team to monitor utilization trends, plan for peak demand, and make informed operational decisions throughout the year.
