Sam Duboc Joins HONK Board of Directors

 

Former Chair of Business Development Bank of Canada is appointed to HONK’s Board

 

TORONTO, ON, CANADA – HONK, North America’s leading provider of contactless payments for parking and mobility, announced today that Sam Duboc, President and CEO of Elkland Capital Inc, has been appointed to HONK’s Board of Directors. Duboc brings decades of experience in corporate finance, business development and leadership strategy and has a proven track record of building and advising companies, organizations and government bodies.

A serial entrepreneur, Duboc has a long history of accelerating corporate growth and expansion. A former Chair and CEO of MindBeacon, a group of behavioral healthtech companies, he built EdgeStone Capital Partners, one of Canada’s leading private equity firms, managing in excess of $2B for institutional and high net-worth investors. In prior roles, he acted as Managing Director at CIBC Capital Partners and co-founded the Loyalty Group Inc (now LoyaltyOne), the parent company of the AIR MILES Reward Program. He also co-founded the award-winning non-profit organization Pathways to Education Canada as well as LEAP:  The Centre for Social Impact.
