LAX shuttle buses are on display during a press conference announcing changes to rideshare services at the airport on Friday, October 4, 2019. Travelers grabbing an Uber or a Lyft at LAX will soon get picked up via a shuttle by their terminal and taken to a lot to jump aboard. Those services will no longer be allowed to pick up curbside at terminals. The move by the airport is to ease some of the horrid congestion in the internal horsehoe road.
