Come join the Parking Association of the Virginias’ Municipal Parking Forum and Spring Workshop on April 27 and 28 at the downtown Fredericksburg Marriott Hotel.
The Municipal Parking Forum will be held April 27 and admittance is free! Topics will focus on parking enforcement, creating a new parking management program, and using parking as an economic development tool. The forum will discuss the best management practices to achieve these three outcomes as well as case studies and advice from leading industry experts. Those attending are encouraged to participate and discuss the challenges they face each day in managing their parking programs. The forum’s guest speakers and facilitators will provide professional advice on lessons learned, discuss emerging trends in technology, and how to manage new technology and parking users’ expectations; experts attending the forum are with LAZ Parking, Kimley Horn and Associates, NuPark, Parkeon, SP+, Vanasse Hangen Brustlin, and Passport.
The second day of the show does require a modest registration fee and focuses on growing the career paths of parking and transportation professionals and the integration and management of parking services and assets between universities and cities. Each presentation will offer real-world examples and approaches to operate successfully in the parking and transportation profession. These presentations will offer practical and useful information that will be beneficial to all parking professionals at all levels within your organization.
If you are interested in attending one or both event days, please register here. We at PAV are looking forward to seeing everyone at this exciting event.
