Reason for Pursuing PTMP Certification

The PTMP certification was an opportunity to challenge myself, broaden my understanding of the parking and mobility industry, and continue developing as a professional. I wanted to expand my knowledge, step outside of my day-to-day experience, and gain new perspectives that I could apply to my work.

Impact the Certification Has Made on Your Career

The biggest impact has been adding new tools to my professional toolkit. The parking and mobility industry is constantly evolving with new technologies, changing customer expectations, and new approaches to mobility. The PTMP certification has given me knowledge I can apply to today’s challenges while also helping me think more strategically about the long-term planning and improvements needed for the future. It has also connected me with other professionals throughout the industry, giving me opportunities to learn from their experiences and expertise.

Best Advice for Those Considering PTMP Certification

“Know what you don’t know.” A mentor once told me that, and I think it’s great advice for anyone considering the PTMP. Pursue the certification for the knowledge, professional connections, and learning opportunities along the way. Challenge yourself to explore something you don’t know, learn from others, and identify areas where you can grow. There is always an opportunity to learn, no matter how much experience you have.
