A large municipality in Alberta Canada utilized TagMaster NA ACTS Advanced Software and Long-Range RFID Readers to manage their snowplow trucks.

The city needed a way to track, audit and manage access into their gated storage facility with a centralized database. Due to the lack of network availability, they also needed a turnkey access control solution able to operate via cellular connectivity. The TMNA’s RFID readers have built in interfaces (wiegand, serial, Ethernet, OSDP) that provide flexibility and the option of including a cellular modem where standard hardware connectivity is limited. The UHF RFID system deployed provided reliable, accurate and consistent reads for both the dump trucks and gated facility with ease. TagMaster NA’s RFID readers offer high adjustability of the read lobe to ensure precise reading areas. Having a fully contactless and automated solution ensures that liability is reduced as drivers do not need to exit or stop their vehicles at the gates in icy conditions, while also accelerating production and efficiency.
