Plymouth Meeting, PA — Towne, the leading tech-driven multi-service arrival-through-departure experience company, announced the appointment of Karuth Sanker as Chief Technology Officer (CTO). The hire reflects Towne’s continued investment in technology and product innovation — advancing its company-wide technology strategy, accelerating its AI capabilities, and supporting the continued growth and market expansion of Nexity by Towne, the company’s proprietary, fully integrated parking and mobility technology platform.
In this role, Sanker will lead Towne’s technology strategy, innovation roadmap, and digital transformation initiatives and oversee enterprise technology, engineering, product development, AI, information security, and IT infrastructure. He will drive Towne’s company-wide AI strategy — applying intelligent automation, data analytics, and machine learning to strengthen operational efficiency, elevate client and customer experiences and position Towne as a technology leader across the industries it serves. He will focus on delivering best-in-class, scalable, secure solutions that enhance experiences for clients, consumers, and Towne’s 14,000 team members.

Sanker is a seasoned technology executive with more than 30 years of experience driving innovation and digital transformation at organizations including Amazon, Zipcar, Agero, and Recycle Track Systems. He has a proven record of building high-performing global teams and data-driven platforms that accelerate revenue growth, improve operational efficiency, and elevate customer experiences.
Most recently, Sanker served as Executive Vice President & CTO at Recycle Track Systems, where he led the company’s end-to-end technology and product ecosystem — spanning product management, SaaS engineering, enterprise integrations, IoT platforms, cybersecurity, data architecture, and AI/machine learning.
Earlier in his career, Sanker held senior leadership roles at Amazon, where he served as an executive leader and head engineer on the Amazon Alexa voice platform -Data Team, helping scale one of the world’s most recognized AI-powered consumer technologies.

Originally from India, Sanker holds a bachelor’s degree in computer science from Manonmaniam Sundaranar University, a master’s degree in computer applications from Bharathidasan University, an MBA from Bentley University, and completed his advanced studies at MIT.
