Toledo Ticket Technologies Announces Brian Tipping as New President
TOLEDO, OH— Toledo Ticket Technologies, a five-generation family-owned business specializing in parking and ticketing solutions, recently announced the hiring of Brian Tipping as its new president. Tipping serves as the first non-family member to occupy this role in the company’s 114 years.
Thomas Carter, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and former president of Toledo Ticket Technologies, announced the change in early August. Carter will remain as CEO while Tipping assumes the presidential role.

Tipping joins Toledo Ticket as a highly respected advisor in brand storytelling and business consulting. He has provided strategic counsel to iconic brands such as Dollywood, La-Z-Boy, Owens Corning, DirecTV, Calphalon, Rubbermaid, U.S. Steel, Cleveland Clinic, and more. On the global scale, Tipping has collaborated with brands such as Bechtel, Smithsonian, Princess Cruises, Certified Angus Beef, Delta Faucets, Coca-Cola, and Chevrolet. As a strategic advisor he was instrumental in helping these brands define and deliver tactical messaging and brand experiences in support of their most critical business priorities. Tipping prides himself on being an early advocate for digital marketing, having led over 100 web-planning and development projects since 2000, which has helped establish and evolve strong online presences for numerous clients.
Tipping began his career at Domino’s Pizza, where he played a central role in the development of the organization’s original brand positioning, standards, and messaging. He would later accept a position at another top three pizza company as Vice President of International Marketing for Little Caesar’s Pizza. This role allowed Tipping to apply his business and brand knowledge to the global stage, where he had comprehensive responsibility for brand development and market growth in 21 diverse international markets.
His experience at Little Caesar’s Pizza gave way to a career full of leadership opportunities, including serving as Corporate Director of Interactive Marketing at Herschend Family Entertainment, Executive Vice President of Strategy and Integration at Thread Marketing Group, and as the Executive Director of Marketing and Public Relations for Siena Heights University.
In 2010, Tipping founded Firestop Communications, a business and brand consultancy. For the next nine years, Tipping enjoyed providing strategic brand and business support to a strong stable of clients, including Marco’s Pizza, Tropical Smoothie Café, Carmike Cinemas, Catholic Health Partners, Centria Health Care, Turner Entertainment Networks, and Sundance Cinemas.
