Vanguard University Makes Campus Parking Easier with Passport

University students and faculty are welcomed into the new year with a new and convenient way to pay for parking.

Costa Mesa, California — Vanguard University has launched a new way to pay to park with an easy-to-use mobile payment application, Passport Parking. The app is powered by the leader in unified parking and curb management, Passport, and allows users to pay for and manage their parking sessions seamlessly through their smartphones.

Passport Parking makes paying to park seamless and hassle-free. After downloading the app from the App Store or Google Play, users enter the respective zone number, license plate number and the desired length of time for parking. Users can receive notifications when their sessions are about to expire and view receipts and parking history directly from their smartphones.

“Delivering the best campus experience is a high priority for Vanguard University, and parking is a significant piece of this experience,” says Kent Ferrin, director of Campus Safety. “With Passport, our students and guests can conveniently pay, and the university can more strategically reallocate time and resources elsewhere. We are glad to move forward with this partnership.”

With one platform in place to manage all of its parking and parking payment needs, Vanguard University has access to powerful data that can allow the team to form more data-driven decisions, supporting more sustainable and equitable communities for students, faculty, and visitors.

“Vanguard University joins more than 800 other universities and cities that partner with Passport to manage and simplify their parking and mobility needs,” says Conor Buckley, Passport account executive. “We are thrilled for this partnership and to continue to improve the parking experience across Southern California.”

The Passport Parking app is free to download from the App Store and Google Play. Users can also manage their parking online at
