As parking and mobility professionals, you cannot help but get excited about the passing of the Infrastructure Bill. There is no denying our transportation, telecommunications, power, and water systems are aging and in need of modernization.
The generational investment included in the Infrastructure Bill will be felt for decades and positively affect all facets of life. A spotlight like no other is about to be shown on our industry as funds flow down from the federal government to states, cities, airports, and authorities to implement $1.2 trillion worth of meaningful infrastructure projects and programs.
In the next several months let’s ensure we are equipped to meet this opportunity head-on and become educated on these new programs and funding streams. A great summary of the Infrastructure Bill and what it means for us can be found here.
Let’s roll up our sleeves and get to work!
