Honk Launches iPhone App Clip Experience for Contactless Payments with Apple Pay at over 100,000 Parking Spots in North America

Drivers can now pay for parking in seconds – no app installation or account signup needed!

Now drivers with an iPhone can pay for parking in a matter of seconds, no installation or signup required.

Introduced by Apple with the launch of iOS 14, App Clips are a small part of an app that is discoverable the moment it is needed. Now drivers can use their iPhone to tap the NFC tag or scan the QR code located on parking meters or payment signs on-site to launch the Honk App Clip. Then, simply select the duration of the parking session and seamlessly pay using Apple Pay or another method. Drivers can also opt to receive parking notifications and add more time to the meter using the App Clip experience.
