Pre-Conference Program: Green Garage Assessor Training

Green Garage Assessor Training is a one-day class covering the theory and practice of building certification and the emergence of Green Garage Certification, now ParkSmart, and offering a deep-dive into the specific management, programmatic, technological, and structural elements of certification. The course equips you with the knowledge to lead a facility through certification, including how to evaluate a parking facility and the process and procedures for submitting facilities for certification.

This training covers the theory and practice of building certification, the emergence of certification, and the specific management, programmatic, and technological and structural elements of certification. The training covers the tools to assess a parking facility, procedures for submitting facilities for certification, and an overview of certification administrative practices.

Attendance earns participants 7 CAPP points. Participants who pass the student assessment with a score of 70 percent or greater at the conclusion of the course will also earn .7 CEUs. The assessment will be offered on-site at the conclusion of the course, and attendees will be notified shortly after the 2016 IPI Conference & Expo.
