    Fascinating tidbit: I am a hockey mom and former manager, my son played ice hockey from elementary through high school and now plays in college. Look up hockey mom in the dictionary - there I am. You can't get any more stereotypical than me.

    Personal hero: My mom. She spent my entire childhood as a teacher who was also a student, achieving her Ph.D. in Computer Science when very few women had ever done so. She was a trailblazer and is one of the smartest people I know.

    On my bookshelf: Parking books. As someone new to the industry, I am diving in to learn all I can about parking and mobility. I am fascinated by all of the implications parking has on communities and the economy, and can't wait to learn more.

    Guilty pleasure: 99% cocoa chocolate bars. They are really hard to find and I usually only buy them when I’m traveling internationally.

    In my spare time: I bake. A lot! It’s a complete stress reducer for me. I rarely show up anywhere without baked goods in hand.

    Fascinating tidbit: I used to fly an airplane with my dad and know how to drive a school bus. Halloween is my favorite holiday.

    In my spare time: I spend as much of it with my granddaughters as I can! Anytime I can get away, I head to the beach. I’m a big fan of horror movies, crime dramas or comedies.

    In my spare time: I practice Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, a martial art based on ground fighting and submission holds. It's a great way to learn self-defense and stay healthy.
