I would like to pass on my knowledge wherever possible and mentor the upcoming new generation of parking professional in whichever topic they find useful from the list provided above. Problem solving and crisis management are some of my key expertise and I strive most in challenging environment, thus periods like pandemic or recession were managed better with me being one of the organization leaders. Thinking on the run and getting things done is what I do best.

    Parking & Mobility Expertise: Experienced in multiple parking and transportation services with direct management and regional oversight of operations at airports, municipalities, and transit/shuttle systems. Particular focus has included building strategies to execute newly established paid parking programs for both on-street and off street systems. My experience includes direct management of public workshop meetings that seek "long" program influences of opinion and gaining public consensus. On a personal note, I have significant background in aviation interest having worked as an air traffic controller, overseen airport authority operations, a pilot, and overseen many airport parking operation, including their transportation systems.

    IPMI Leadership Spotlight: My time volunteering for IPMI began with serving on the New Member committee, for which I assumed the Chair role soon after becoming a member of the Board. In addition, I have served for several years on the Awards of Excellence (AOE) committee, having assumed the Chair role three years ago. Recently, I have led others within the committee to expand discussions about equity and completeness in AOE submittals.

    Thoughts on Service: Serving IPMI has expanded my understanding of the diverse individuals that call parking and mobility their life’s work. While the size and scope of our industry expands, I continue to see more of a separation in needs between smaller and larger operational requirements, including the use of technology. My hope is that the growth in technologies used by our industry have a common goal of scale and adaptability, so that the all members can benefit from the opportunities they provide.

    Parking & Mobility Expertise: I take a tremendous amount of pride of my commitment to excellence in the area of leadership, professional development, superior customer service, diversity, equity, and inclusion. For the last three to four years I have been placing a lot of emphasis on emotional intelligence and how it benefits us in and outside the workplace. I have experience in project management, account reconciliations, and conflict resolution.

    IPMI Leadership Spotlight: I plan on co-chairing the education committee. I plan to stay involved with the Task Force Committee. I have also been involved in IPMI's focused on DEI. When possible I have provided training through speeches, frontline fundamentals, articles and blogs.

    Thoughts on Service: After years of being a member of IPMI, it is an honor to serve in the capacity of the Board of Directors. I am confident I will have the opportunity to share my 27 years of parking experience that spans across accounting, operations, and administration both on- and off-street.
