Bethlehem Parking Authority Awarded PaDEP Grant

Bethlehem, Pennsylvania – The Bethlehem Parking Authority was recently awarded $15,000 of grant funding by the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection to support the purchase of two Electric Vehicles.

This is the second year in a row that the Bethlehem Parking Authority has received funding through the Alternative Fuels Incentive Grant. The grant funding has been crucial to the BPA as they transition to cleaner fuel transportation. The Bethlehem Parking Authority received support from Senator Lisa Boscola.

“We sincerely thank Senator Lisa Boscola for her continued support as we transition to cleaner fuel transportation. We are proud to announce that our entire fleet is now over 50% electric, and this wouldn’t have been possible without the assistance from Senator Boscola in securing this crucial funding opportunity,” said Steven Fernstrom, Executive Director of the Bethlehem Parking Authority.
