ParkMobile Announces Partnership with the City of Arcata, California to Make Parking a Seamless Experience
The partnership offers contactless and easy-to-use ways to pay for parking throughout the city using any mobile device.
Arcata, CA – October 4, 2021 – ParkMobile, the #1 parking app in the U.S, announced that it will be expanding its services to the City of Arcata, California. This is a new market for ParkMobile and will help make parking easier throughout the city. Through the partnership, ParkMobile is now offered for metered parking spaces in the City of Arcata.
ParkMobile has over 27 million users across North America and is available for both iPhone and Android devices. ParkMobile can also be accessed on a mobile web browser for those who do not want to download an app. To pay for parking using the mobile or web app, a user enters the zone number posted on signs around the parking spot, selects the amount of time needed, and touches the “Start Parking” button to begin the session. The user can also extend the time of the parking session on their mobile device. In Arcata, ParkMobile will also be offering payment via dedicated kiosks and meters using the same zone number method.
With the addition of Arcata, ParkMobile is now available in 44 markets in California, with over 2.4 million users in the state. The app can be used in other Northern California cities, including Berkley, Sacramento, South San Francisco, San Jose, and throughout the state in Los Angeles, San Diego, Newport Beach, and more. The ParkMobile app can be used to pay for parking in over 450 cities in the U.S.
