I recently wrote a blog about the virtual conference that IPMI will be hosting in a few weeks. Please feel free to read it.
I do want to restate; I hope you will be able to attend!
I know that many organizations have suspended unnecessary spending for the unforeseeable future. Still, I want to tell you that IPMI has an option for you; The CAPP Scholarship Fund.
Did you know that IPMI has the CAPP Scholarship Fund available? If you didn’t, you are in luck, and we have funds available for people interested in attending.
IPMI wants to make it easy for inviduals who wish to attend to do so.
Here are there requirements for CAPP scholarship:
- Any person who is pursuing their CAPP within the next five years
- Any current CAPP who would use the points towards recertification
- Complete the CAPP Scholarship Application Form and send it to CAPP@parking-mobility.org
- You must submit your application before May 25, 2020.
- You will be notified if granted the scholarship award.
If you are in need, please consider using this resource. Many current CAPPs have utilized the scholarship fund, and it has helped their career and enhanced networking among peers.
To our current CAPPs, if you want to pay it forward, please consider donating to the CAPP Scholarship Fund. Each year IPMI raises funds through the Annual Voight CAPP Golf Classic Tournament held during the conference & expo. Please feel free to reach out to us at CAPP@parking-mobility.org to inquire about donating to the CAPP Scholarship fund so that more CAPPs and CAPP Candidates can use it when assistance is needed.
Thank you again for your attention, stay safe, and I hope to see you (virtually) at the 2020 IPMI Virtual Conference & Expo.
