Drivers can now use the app to easily manage parking sessions

Revere, Mass. (Feb. 6, 2020) — Beginning today, drivers in the City of Revere can pay for parking easily and efficiently through the Passport Parking app. This is the first time the city has partnered with a mobile pay provider.

Revere sits just five miles from downtown Boston, home of the ParkBoston app powered by Passport. In addition to using the Passport Parking app in Revere, drivers can also use the  app to:

  • Extend parking sessions remotely
  • Track parking history and receipts from their smartphones
  • Receive notifications when their parking sessions are ending

“The Passport Parking app is another leap into modernizing city services,” said Revere Mayor Brian Arrigo. “This convenience will make life easier for visitors to our business districts, will facilitate compliance with parking regulations, and make collection procedures even more efficient and productive.”

Nearly 1,000 clients partner with Passport to manage their curbsides and power their parking operations. Passport mobile pay apps are available in other cities in the state of Massachusetts, such as Cambridge, Lowell and Chelsea.

“Paying to park should be a hassle-free experience no matter what city you are in,” said Passport sales executive, Mollie Bolin. “We’re excited to introduce a mobile option to a city that is focused on delivering the best parking experience to its constituents.”

The Passport Parking app is free to download from the App Store or Google Play. Drivers can also manage their parking online at passportparking.com.
