After all, it’s often the last mile or two of a multi-modal trip that offers the best opportunity for bike transportation, and having a bike sharing station at either end of that journey makes it a no-brainer.

Last week—same week as Earth Day—the National Association of City Transportation Officials (NACTO) released its Bike Share Siting Guide to help municipalities determine the best locations for bike sharing stations; the information is equally applicable to lots of parking operations.
