International Parking Institute Recognizes 2013 Certified Administrator of Public Parking (CAPP) Program Graduates
CAPP respected worldwide as leading credential for parking professionals
(FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. – May 22, 2013)- The International Parking Institute (IPI) announced the 2013 graduates of its Certified Administrator of Public Parking (CAPP) Program at the IPI Conference & Expo in Fort Lauderdale, Fla. this week. The 15 CAPP graduates come from both private and public, U.S. and international organizations at universities, cities, airports, healthcare facilities, corporations, technology providers, consultants, and transportation authorities.
“This year’s CAPP graduates deserve to take great pride in their accomplishments,” said IPI Executive Director Shawn Conrad, CAE. “Earning this credential takes a commitment to the parking profession which should be recognized and applauded.”
The Certified Administrator of Public Parking (CAPP) is the parking profession’s most well-respected credential. Candidates earn the credential after completing a rigorous program developed by the International Parking Institute in partnership with the University of Virginia. The program includes seminars and workshops on such topics as parking design; rehabilitation and maintenance; finance, revenue control and auditing; on- and off-street parking enforcement and adjudication; leadership and management; and media relations.
